Once again Yolanda Shanks has produced a quality Bible study – the third in the Destined to Live, Despite Me series.
A Cause To Be Thankful‘s key verse is Jesus’ quote from Luke 17:17 asking, “Were there not ten (lepers) 
cleansed? Where are the nine?”
The 97 page study has six sections:

Yolanda has the gift of making you feel as though she has joined you in your living room for an intimate discussion and study time. From the opening prayer through the introduction, background and scriptural teaching, I felt not so much being taught “at” but “learning with” and exalting His name together.
Personalized prayers are one of her trademarks that I enjoy. The practice of inserting our name into the scripture application and personalizing our prayers makes individual or group Observation – Interpretation and Application a natural occurrence.
I especially enjoyed her treatment of “A Foreigner’s Return,” and the evaluation of “An Attitude of Gratitude.”
Yolanda Shanks began writing after her deliverance from “the clutches of suicide — the darkened dungeon of my thoughts — and was offered salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.”
You will be inspired by Yolanda’s personal story, encouraged by the lessons of the one out of ten returning, and thankful that this special woman was saved to bless so many others.
