I’ve read a sample pre-publication book and can assure you it is one story you don’t want to put down. Compelling characters and so many layers of the title are built into the story. I like books with an inspirational message – not in-your-face preaching, but one where you learn from (or despite) the characters’ decisions and actions. Darlington’s multi-layered story delivered time and again leaving me not just refreshed – but enriched. Two of the main characters are teens so I’d recommend this book as excellent reading for pre-teen to the most ‘mature’ readers! The mystery is also a fascinating journey into the world of antique books. Even the cover was outstanding and this is one time you can judge the book by its cover. – Delores
