NuNaturals Stevia – My find of the year

This is the second post of cooking and eating with NuNaturals Stevia

Breakfast:  Lemon Blueberry (Mega) Protein Pancakes

and dessert – Avocado Lemon Pear Mousse

No gluten pancakes with FLAVOR – WOW!

Even my skeptical-about-healthy foods husband loved these (after approaching the plate like it would bite him, and cautiously tasting the pancake with and without my favorite topping (equal amounts Foods Alive Golden Flax Oil and real Maple Syrup). His comment: WOW! These ARE good!

My protein powder was Ultimate ProFIT from ItWorks. Can’t say enough about these pancakes. It’s been years since I could enjoy tasty pancakes without getting sick.  Recipe supposed to make two pancakes – I made four 4-5″.

Selah V. is the Personal Trainer who created the light and refreshing Avocado Lemon Pear Mousse dessert (or appetizer).  I know, I know…I was hesitant too about combining an avocado, a pear, lemon juice and NuNaturals Lemon Stevia, so I only made a half recipe.  I LOVE lemon, I LOVE this delightfully healthy treat.  It is just sweet enough (I used 10 drops of NuNaturals lemon stevia) and NO bitter taste. At least I have the comfort that all the ingredients for my next batch (the other half avocado and lemon) are in the fridge ready for tomorrow!  Maybe I’ll try vanilla with that half!  Check out more of Selah’s recipes at her blog

I’ll try more tomorrow.  First I have to “redecorate” my spice cabinet, replacing those other brand bitter tasting stevia samples with my NuNaturals. No turning back – I am hooked!
