A true-life story of Tim and Debbie, finding each other amidst their middle-of-life searches for a faith-based dream come true relationship.

Both avid bicyclists, people of faith and determined not to be single forever, they first find one another and begin a courtship via an internet dating match service.

Many coincidences throughout a long correspondence and dating time reveals they both have a dream of a cross-country biking excursion.  I was astonished when they decided rather quickly and without a lot of practice, preparation or experience to just do it!

Career challenges provide motivation and timing for an if-we-don’t-do-it-now moment so they quickly packed and left.

The story, told by Tim, feels like reading a blog or journal. The growth in their relationship from discovering differences and dealing with them while on a not very well advised and sometimes dangerous journey was an intimate peek behind the scenes of their unusual honeymoon on bikes.

Riding along with the Bishops you view more than terrain, roads, and what were we thinking moments. You view two hearts being drawn to one another, two personalities being molded by faith, compromise, adaptation, vulnerability and consideration for one another.

Tim and Debbie provide a lot of challenges for making life changes as a couple.
